You need not place your hands on the RED HOT element of a stove to know its potential pain of touching.
Equally so you need not walk a mile in that person’s bare feet over the heat of melting asphalt to know it is not a journey you would chose to take. Yet sadly I am unable to walk away from my skin, though I chose not to, while for seemingly many lifetimes we were never allowed to darn our feet with the protection many have for so very long taken for granted. And yet, here you are, with the conscious understanding of being human. Clearly change is possible.
“There is a war going on in America. It is not the war that rages between the right wing and the left. It is not the war that rages between the have and the have not. It is not a war between right and wrong. This is not even a war for peace. This is the most dangerous war of them all. It is the war to sell us the illusion of change!
It is a war made most dangerous because one day, we will awake to the demands of the war for truth.
