Waste Not Your Time~
Waste not your time on poisonous words from one who has never truly loved
For they would never had known the sweetest taste of being in the rapture of love nor too the bitter sweet taste of having lost your true love
Waste not your time on the fruitless vines of opinions from whose lips you have tried in vain to pick rationality of understanding your pain
Best you take time to heal the deepest of scars, to gently ease the entanglement of roots, to depressurize your engorged heart aching to be touched by the gentle memories of a love long lost.
Waste not your time on the stone faced hardened statues of
reflected friendship or family by obligation tying their best to be atop
the list of guest that shared your time when once you were aligned
with the shallowness of infatuation, lost love now your salutation.
Waste not your time thinking it is a waste of time to reminisce, to hunger,
to thirst or hanging on to the aftertaste of love lost. While all others may
lay in the pretense of comfort upon their bed of bitter roses, admonishing
your affection for your weathered rose laying amongst your empty wine glasses, far better it is to have loved in the warmth of life if but once than to have a life long existence in the dampness of acceptable graces.
