The evil men do
when wrapped in their religious blindness
How easily we forget
when saying
"Lest we forget"
And a world closes the door
to hide their inhumanity

Where’s YOUR GOD you Godless ones!

But you’ll be back at the alter
like the murders at confession
after every slaughter
pious words
blood drips from your hands
charred white dust from your soul
the only evidence of those once whole

Tonight you’ll kiss your babies
lie about their histories
feed them your false victories

You're in haste to stake new ground
Hurriedly driving spikes
to weather the impending storm
but building cursed lives
where once God's children strive
will once again be the spikes
upon which history
will find your crown
