Well, then let us begin

Hello and good day to you, Sir Christopher. Yesterday was your family and friends' opportunity to have one more goodbye in the manner of their Balloon Release Celebration Of Life in your memory.

I do remember the very first time I saw such an event it was on film. It was a movie about a young man having lost his lover to the then raging and heartlessness of Aids. If memory serves me correctly it was the actor that played the eldest child in Little House On The Prairie. In that scene where the Balloon Release was first witnessed, it was so very emotionally wrenching and, yes, heartbreaking, I remember feeling as if, I was the one having lost a loved one or a lifelong friend.

It has been a year now since your passing, and though I was not there, I would not have released my balloon. I will still hold on to this emotional string for a while if you don’t mind.
