Bus Shelter

Sometimes I feel my life just sitting in a bus shelter, located on a road to nowhere waiting for a bus that will never come.
Still inside my shelter, representing that very small moment of mental calm while surrounded by an otherwise societal storm of hopelessness, there is hope.
There is hope just as long as I contain my faith within my shelter. I am at peace, I am insulated from the silence of disappointment, the voices of needless rush, the urgency of all well meaning around me all saying “Let’s just go”
…so I just sit
