After listening to a CBC radio Canada interview with the director of this production, your review did wonderful justice to this piece. We have spent far too long playing the “Tom” of constantly having to “do the right thing” in our artistic forms even when that “right thing” has nothing what so ever to do with the reality of our daily lives.

We are constantly being systemically “orange mailed” into being more concerned about not offending our non racially diverse colleagues while protecting the our jobs being held over us like a carrot on a whip imitating a stick.
We are 24/7 passing on these same fears and apologetic mentality to our children by giving them lip service of they can be anything they want to be. Lies, Lies and more lies.

This film gives us, ALL OF US, an opportunity to express by way of our artistic rights, what is truth…..

from the truth
but still the truth it remains
Sometimes we wish no knowledge
of what rest inside
still it changes not what it contains….”

Big ups to you and to the entire brave crew of this production. It is a wake up call to all artist that wishes to express their truths.
